A University of Pennsylvania study presented at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's annual congress found women who were infertile were at a 45% greater risk of dying from breast cancer and a 10% increased risk of premature death, compared with fertile women. The findings were based on more than 78,000 women who were followed by the researchers for 13 years.
