Arglass Yamamura's upcoming bottle plant in Valdosta, Ga., and South Carolina-based Fisher Recycling's plans to move to a new space in Beaufort, S.C., are expected to boost glass recycling in parts of the South. The Georgia plant will include an onsite glass cleanup facility, and the South Carolina operation will have a yearly capacity of about 75,000 tons of recycled glass.
