Nearly 10,000 Microsoft customers, 84% of them businesses, have been targeted by cyberattacks over the past year, mostly from countries such as Iran, North Korea and Russia, the company said. The attacks raise concern about "the significant extent to which nation-states continue to rely on cyberattacks as a tool to gain intelligence, influence geopolitics, or achieve other objectives," Microsoft executive Tom Burt wrote in a blog post.
