The Environmental Protection Agency should "fully restore the Safer Choice Program -- a broadly supported and impactful recognition program that helps drive a market for safer chemicals and products," wrote the American Cleaning Institute, BASF, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser and other entities in a letter to the EPA. The Trump administration reduced the full-time staff at the program to four, down from a high of 14 employees.
