Huntsman has sold its chemical intermediate and surfactant assets to Indorama Ventures for $2 billion, allowing Huntsman to focus on polyurethanes while expanding Indorama's presence in the US specialty chemicals market. Indorama now owns most of Huntsman's operations in Port Neches, Texas, plus manufacturing sites in Australia and India.
