SPRK Lightning Lab is a hub where students and teachers can work with others to build Sphero robots. Teachers can track their classes in one spot and sync data between the app and website.

Online classes blend academic, cultural education

Students can learn about new cultures as they take classes in art, science, technology and language through online platform Coolcher. Classes are taught live, via videoconference, by teachers in various countries. Teachers are required to include scenarios from their culture in the coursework.

Web site offers free hands-on science activities

The Exploratorium, in San Francisco, has launched “Science Snacks,” an online library of free hands-on science activities for students in grades 6-12.
