Top 10: Restaurant news, PepsiCo’s ergonomic bottle, perfect smoked turkey

Restaurant and culinary news was prominent in this week’s Top 10 most-clicked stories by SmartBrief food and beverage readers. The debut of Chipotle’s first digital-only restaurant in Highland Falls, N.Y., news of Papa John’s headquarters move to Atlanta and state orders to close dining rooms also garnered reader interest this week.

On the culinary side, Thanksgiving-focused stories were ripe for the picking. In CPG news, PepsiCo’s new ergonomic 2-liter bottle, which launched in Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Wisconsin, and Mars Wrigley’s planned launch of products for the convenience store channel garnered clicks. The reported $5 billion purchase of Kind North America by Mars also made waves.
