NRF Foundation and SmartBrief Partner to Promote Careers in Retail

Bi-weekly e-brief to focus on engaging young retail professionals and students

WASHINGTON, D.C. – National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation and SmartBrief announced today the launch of a bi-weekly newsletter dedicated to fostering the career growth for tomorrow’s retail leaders, particularly young professionals as well as students exploring career opportunities in the industry.

“We’re thrilled to launch this new initiative in partnership with the NRF Foundation,” said Rick Stamberger, CEO of SmartBrief. “The Foundation is leading the charge in cultivating the next generation of retail leaders, and we’re honored to work closely with them in broadening awareness about opportunities in the industry.”

Retail Careers SmartBrief will focus on providing tips to stand out in the workplace, stories on rising retail leaders, top industry news, as well as featured jobs from NRF’s retail job board. This is the fourth NRF publication launched with SmartBrief to keep the retail industry engaged and informed and on top of the day’s trending news.

“In today’s 24-hour news cycle, there’s almost too much information out there. Retail Careers SmartBrief is one-stop shopping for interesting content about the industry’s leaders, tips on how to get ahead professionally, and great careers in retail. No one else offers that all in one place,” said Ellen Davis, executive director of the NRF Foundation.
