SmartBrief Hosts 4th Annual Women’s Leadership Program

WASHINGTON, D.C. – SmartBrief hosted its fourth annual Women’s Leadership Program, a day-long educational event dedicated to developing diverse leadership and supporting female employees in reaching their leadership potential. The event is part of a series of talent development initiatives that focus on building organizational capabilities and performance, networking and developing the company’s strongest performers.

This year’s Women’s Leadership Program featured guest facilitator, Jennifer Lee, who is an award-winning speaker and director of learning and development at JB Training Solutions. As a former learning and development director at the AAA Five Diamond-rated Waldorf Astoria Chicago and learning manager at The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, Lee brought a rich perspective on empowering women to seek leadership roles. Women currently account for over 50 percent of SmartBrief’s employee base.

In addition to this annual event, SmartBrief organizes ongoing leadership programming designed to identify and mentor future leaders, support employees transitioning into leadership roles as well as develop the leadership skills of its younger employees. In September, SmartBrief will also host its first in-person event in Washington, D.C., for business executives committed to furthering the development of women in the workplace.
