SmartBrief launches content marketing group

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – SmartBrief, Inc., the leader in curated business news and information, announced the launch of their new content marketing group at BMA Blaze, the Business Marketing Association convention in Chicago.

With the growth in content channels managed by brands and agencies, the need to keep those channels full of relevant and professional content has never been greater. SmartBrief’s aggregated, curated and original content can be easily delivered and used across multiple brand channels.

Headed by 11-year SmartBrief veteran Jennifer McNally, the new content marketing group leads content product innovation at SmartBrief.

“SmartBrief has been doing content marketing on behalf of our trade association partners for over a decade. As the demand for content has expanded over the last year or so, it was a logical decision for us to expand not just our suite of products but also our client-base,” said McNally.

Aimed at brand marketers and agencies, the new content products from SmartBrief include the core email newsletter product along with white papers, webinars, eBooks, blog posts, sponsored content and native advertising opportunities.

“Thanks to heightened industry knowledge around content marketing, the ramp up time for this new endeavor was very easy. Most of the marketing professionals we work with are already using one or more of these tools,” added McNally.

According to the 2013 B2B Content Marketing Benchmarks study by the Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs, 91% of the respondents use content marketing. SmartBrief’s deep knowledge of content makes them an effective resource in this rapidly expanding market.
