The retail property in Reading, Mass., that's leased to HomeGoods has been sold to Linear Retail Properties for $5.5 million. The 30,000-square-foot property is 40 minutes from downtown Boston.

Collett Capital has purchased the 103,711-square-foot Cherokee Commons retail center near Atlanta from PMAT Cos. The grocery store-anchored property was 89% leased at the time of the sale and has been renovated recently.

Columbia Business Center in Maryland has been sold to Feldman Bergin Properties for $25.6 million. The mixed-use space, which was 84% leased to office, retail, and research and development companies, will receive exterior improvements.

ShopOne Centers REIT launched recently with 46 grocery-anchored shopping centers spanning eight states. The trust, which began with 4.65 million square feet of leasable space, plans to acquire, operate and manage grocery-anchored properties in dominant markets.

Branch Retail Properties acquired a portfolio of 876,153 square feet of retail space for $110 million. The portfolio spans several states and includes six grocery-anchored properties featuring Publix, Whole Foods or Kroger anchors.
