Alibaba intends to help global businesses, including small and medium-size companies, sell $200 billion worth of goods to the Chinese consumer market over the next five years. The comments made Tuesday by Daniel Zhang, Alibaba's CEO, came a day after Xi Jinping, China's president, said the country would import $30 trillion in goods during the next 15 years.
