Walmart is revamping parts of its attendance policy for hourly employees and will start paying bonuses to staffers who don't exceed six "protected PTO" days over a six-month period, the retailer said. The attendance records of about 300,000 employees would already qualify for the bonuses, which could total $550 per quarter for $11-an-hour minimum wage employees and $900 for hourly supervisors.
