More shoppers are looking for meat that is grass-fed, wild-caught and humanely raised, and 54% of consumers want to see more grass-fed beef carried in stores, according to FMI's The Power of Meat 2019. Meijer has jumped on the wild-caught trend by hosting 80 chef demonstrations for Alaskan sockeye salmon across 225 stores, leading to a boost in sales.
