Since acquiring Topo Chico in 2017, Coca-Cola has been navigating how to retain the sparkling water brand's regional cult status while expanding sales across the US. Topo Chico sales in the US rose 39% to nearly $130 million over the last year, according to IRI data, and Coca-Cola plans to grow distribution gradually in order to maintain the brand's charm.
