Generation Z may be the most active age group on social media, but Kantar research reveals the cohort is turning the world of gaming into the new social media, as nearly 90% of them are gamers and are finding social communities within games such as "Fortnite." Kantar's Michelle Brisson says, "They are just changing the way social media works for them, participating in smaller, niche ecosystems."
