A group of Virginia students recently worked together to create a Minecraft-based environment to hold a graduation "ceremony" for the group's only high-school senior, who said he thought he would miss out on the milestone event when schools were closed for the academic year. About nine group members worked together to create a stage with lights, seats for an audience and a fireworks display to celebrate the graduation of senior Trey Powers and at least 18 other seniors who have decided to participate in the game-based event.
