Online consumer spending has jumped 30% since the beginning of March compared with the same period last year as most of the country complies with stay-at-home orders. After the stockpiling of basic goods in the initial weeks of social distancing, online purchases shifted toward entertainment: Electronics has grown 86% year-over-year, while spending on games and toys has increased 119%.
