Macy's aims to raise $1.1 billion through a bond sale secured by 35 stores and 10 distribution centers, with plans to use the funds to pay off existing debts and fund operations. The bond sale is contingent on Macy's also obtaining a $3 billion revolving credit line using the retailer's inventory as collateral.
