Global Pinterest engagement has reached record-breaking numbers with searches increasing 60% year-over-year and the social platform has been monitoring the changing activity among stages of the lockdown to glean data insight, says Global Chief Marketing Officer Andrea Mallard. She says brands are increasingly interested in this data coupled with its various ad products to boost efficiencies and notes while some brands are cutting back, others are taking advantage of opportunities to retain a position in "an injured economy."
