Streamlining, mergers and acquisitions are three ways troubled travel agencies may come out on the other side of the coronavirus, though at least 20% are expected to shutter entirely, consultant Bob Joselyn says. He doesn't foresee "meaningful revenue" for travel advisors until the second quarter of 2021 and says cost-cutting will be a key to survival.
