Companies that provide hair care products saw a spike in sales due to coronavirus-related stay-at-home orders, and many in the industry expect the trend to continue as consumers discover the convenience, ease and affordability of home hair care services, writes Seth Mendelson. Hair dyes, DIY extensions, hair masks, tools and hair loss product sales increased during the period from Feb. 19 to April 19, according to data science firm Spate.
