Nestle has released 46 products since purchasing the plant-based Sweet Earth brand nearly three years ago, roughly doubling the brand's retail footprint, said Ryan Riddle, Nestle's senior product development specialist of vegetarian meal solutions. Nestle and Sweet Earth enjoy a "great partnership," he explained, with additions to the portfolio to include a cleaner label for the brand's flagship Awesome Burger and the introduction of a bacon burger product.
