An increased interest in plant-based foods and beverages and how prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics support immune health are among the six consumer trends developing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Archer Daniels Midland research. Personalized nutrition, emotional well-being and weight management are also emerging as important to consumers, with 48% expected to spend more on health and wellness products, ADM noted.
