General Mills has released Accelerate, a long-term growth strategy of 2% to 3% that targets five sectors: cereals, snack bars, pet food, ice cream and Mexican foods. Accelerate also plans to increase investments in eight core markets and best-selling brands such as Annie's, Yoplait, Yoki and Pillsbury.
