The UK Royal Navy's Merlin HM2 helicopters are being modified as long-range surveillance and battle management helicopters by Lockheed Martin under a $368 million contract awarded in 2016. Thales UK and Leonardo Helicopters are partnering with Lockheed to perform these modifications on 10 helicopters.

Bell has received an order from the Jamaican government for six Bell 505 JetRanger X helicopters to expand the Jamaica Defence Force's inventory, which includes Bell 429 GlobalRangers and 412 helicopters. The helicopters will "serve in search-and-rescue (SAR) missions, medical evacuations, natural disaster relief, national security, and military training operations," Bell said.

Sikorsky will provide six VH-92A helicopters for the US presidential fleet under a $470.8 million contract modification.

Sikorsky has been awarded a $542 million contract modification under the presidential helicopter replacement program.

Sikorsky is teaming up with sensor-maker Hensoldt as aircraft manufacturer seeks to supply the German military with CH-53K King Stallion helicopters. Boeing is pitching its Chinook helicopter.
