Saudi Arabia has ordered 25 more Sikorsky UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters as Lockheed Martin prepares for the 2022 delivery of 40 UH-60Ms and 75 HH-60Ms ordered in 2018. The latest order is valued at $99.8 million.

Sikorsky has received a $525.4 million contract modification for the manufacture of 40 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for the US Army and international buyers.

Sikorsky Aircraft will build and deliver Black Hawk helicopters to the US Army under a $556.1 million contract. Work on the Black Hawk UH/HH-60s should be completed by June 2021.

Sikorsky's S-70M helicopter has received Federal Aviation Administration approval for civilian sales, including agricultural and forestry applications. This modified version of the UH-60M "will be tremendously attractive to local government agencies, municipalities, and commercial transport companies across the US, and even to some international operators, that want to acquire new Black Hawk helicopters direct from Sikorsky to accomplish specific tasks," Sikorsky's Nathalie Previte says.

The US Army awarded Sikorsky Aircraft an $88.1 million contract modification for delivery of eight UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.
