This week, 750 members of the School Nutrition Association are advocating in front of Congress to offer universal, free meals at schools nationwide through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs. This expanded access to school meals is a top priority for SNA because "school meals are going to be more important than ever to make sure students are fueled for learning, and more families than ever will depend on them," said Diane Pratt-Heavner, director of media relations at SNA.
