Textron Aviation's new Beechcraft Denali is joining the company's high-performance turboprop aircraft offering alongside the Beechcraft King Air 260. Five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning has been selected to serve as honorary chair of Textron Aviation's 2022 Special Olympics Airlift, an annual endeavor in which aircraft owners and operators from across the US transport coaches and athletes to the event. Manning will help to recruit at least 200 owners of Cessna Citation, Hawker, Beechjet, Beechcraft King Air and Beechcraft Premier aircraft to fly participants next June to the Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, Fla.

Recent data reveal there is work to be done raising public awareness about the persistent misuse of laser pointers, and the aviation hazard that it creates.

Textron Aviation President and CEO Ron Draper said the company hired 1,000 workers last year and expects to hire about as many this year as the market for Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft continues to improve.
