The Cessna Citation Longitude aircraft, a super-midsize business jet from Textron Aviation, has earned certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency, nearly three years after receiving a Federal Aviation Administration type certificate. Powered by Honeywell HTF7700L turbofan engines, the 12-passenger aircraft was introduced in 2012 and made its first flight in 2016.

Production of the Beechcraft King Air C90 GTx twin-turboprop and Cessna Citation Sovereign+ midsize business jet has ceased, with Textron Aviation opting to focus on newer offerings that are generating higher demand. Textron's parts operation and service centers will continue to support the aircraft.

Textron Aviation is planning deliveries of the Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2, with new features that include more seating options and improved storage in the galley.

A joint venture between Textron Aviation and Avic has received an order for eight Cessna Citation XLS+ planes from China's Flight Inspection Center. CFIC will add the business jets to its fleet of Citation 560XL aircraft.

Textron Aviation and Bombardier are expected to debut a handful of aircraft at the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Show in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this week. Textron expects a warm welcome for its Cessna Citation Latitude business jet.
