Supply chain disruptions are affecting school meal operations in some districts, causing them to scale back menus or substitute items. Pam Hart, child nutrition director for Moore Public Schools in Oklahoma, said the district joined a state cooperative after its distributor backed out, but it still expects shortages of some menu items, such as J.M. Smucker Uncrustables sandwiches and Italian salad dressing.
