Restaurant Brands International, the parent of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons, has vowed to reduce emissions at the three chains by 50% over the next nine years and reach net zero by 2050. In addition to making changes like switching to electric vehicles and building more eco-friendly restaurants, the company also expects to work with meat suppliers to cut emissions from the supply chain.
