Paramount Group has signed deals for tenants to lease 279,000 square feet of space at 1301 Avenue of the Americas, a 1.7 million-square-foot Midtown Manhattan office. Credit Agricole CIB has signed a 167,000-square-foot lease and SVB Leerink has renewed and expanded its lease at 112,000 square feet.

Lineage Logistics has completed its 12-month expansion of the Heywood Northern Superhub in Manchester in the UK. The upgraded warehouse now extends across 425,000 square feet and consumes significantly less energy than comparable facilities in Europe.

Funds managed by PIMCO are acquiring Columbia Property Trust for $3.9 billion including debt in a deal that will take the REIT private. PIMCO will pay $19.30 per share of outstanding common stock as part of the deal, which could close as soon as year's end.

US Bankruptcy Judge Marvin Isgur has signed off on Washington Prime Group's Chapter 11 bankruptcy exit, although some uncertainty remains about the value of the REIT's assets. Under the plan, SVPGlobal will exchange debt holdings for ownership of the company.

The new owner of the Royalton hotel -- known for being one of the country's first boutique properties -- says that guests can expect a different experience in the future. The property was "so exclusive that people couldn't go there; it was too intimidating," says Tyler Morse, CEO of MCR Investors, which paid almost $41 million for the Manhattan hotel.
