Lower Manhattan rebuilt itself into one of the country's largest and most vibrant business districts after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The pandemic has taken a toll on the area, but many tenants still express enthusiasm for the neighborhood. "We love it down there," said MCR Hotels CEO Tyler Morse. "Downtown has terrific physical attributes and great public transportation."
