The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has ruled against the standard adopted by the Trump administration National Labor Relations Board specifying when an on-site contractor's workers can picket. In 2019, the NLRB held that employees can picket only if they work "regularly and exclusively" at a job site, but the D.C. Circuit has ruled that the standard is arbitrary and has remanded the matter to the NLRB.

Software company Intuit is considering acquiring email marketing startup Mailchimp for more than $10 million, sources said. Another company reportedly might make Mailchimp a buyout offer, as well.

The US Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit has ruled against the deportation of an Indian man because of a drug conviction that occurred prior to the revocation of his US citizenship. The court held that the Immigration and Nationality Act did not apply to Baljinder Singh at the time of his conviction, which took place before he lost his citizenship because of misrepresentations on his naturalization application.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are considering new sanctions against Wells Fargo over a failure to fulfill certain obligations outlined in the content orders it agreed to in 2018. The regulators are reportedly unhappy with the bank's progress in paying restitution to consumers.

A Fort Lauderdale, Fla., rule restricting the sharing of food within the city's parks violates the Constitution, the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit has held. The rule required permits that could cost as much as $6,000 to hold food-sharing events in city parks, and the court held that the requirement runs afoul of the First Amendment rights of Food Not Bombs, which provides vegan meals to people who are homeless.
