A group of Washington Prime shareholders are requesting that key deadlines in the REIT's Chapter 11 exit plan be extended by more than a month so advisers have more time to evaluate the proposal. Washington Prime Group plans to sell itself to SVPGlobal in exchange for debt forgiveness, but the shareholders want potential court approval of the deal no earlier than Sept. 23.
