After an eight-week test at stores in Massachusetts, Wegmans is rolling out new egg cartons made from recycled newsprint and other paper products at all of its locations. The molded fiber packaging will be used for all Wegmans brand eggs and replace polystyrene foam cartons, a switch the grocer said will cut its foam use by 625,000 pounds every year.
