- BAE executives head to Washington to fight for Bradley
Executives from the U.K.-based BAE Systems are traveling to Washington, D.C., to lobby against sequestration cuts. BAE produces Bradley fighting vehicles for the U.S. Army at a plant in York, Penn. "If we don't find a way to mitigate the shutdown between now and midsummer, we are reaching ... the-line-of-no return," said Mark Signorelli, BAE's vice president of vehicle systems. - Sequestration should be solved, NASA official says
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said it is essential that sequestration be solved. "Sequestration is not a one-year deal. It's 10 years," he said. "So we've really got to get out of it. If we have to operate under sequestration, all the (ambitious goals NASA has set for deep space travel) are years from happening." AL.com (Alabama)

- TransDigm to acquire Aerosonic for $7.75 a share
The TransDigm Group of Ohio announced plans to acquire Aerosonic Corp. of Florida. TransDigm will start its tender offer for shares of Aerosonic at $7.75 per share by May 9. - TSA delays policy change that would have allowed small knives
The Transportation Security Administration is pushing back its policy change on small knives. The policy change was scheduled to go into effect this week but will be postponed. "This timing will enable TSA to incorporate the feedback about the changes to the Prohibited Items List and continue workforce training," the TSA said in a statement. USA Today
