AI, ML yield positive results for most social marketers

Artificial intelligence and machine learning tools have been added to workflows by 71% of social marketers surveyed by Sprout Social and Cint, and 82% are seeing positive results through improved productivity, more accurate content targeting and speedier content creation. Within the next six months, 55% of those social marketers who don't currently use the technology plan to begin tests.

Marketers cautiously optimistic over Google's project Magi

Google's plan to use artificial intelligence and chatbots to transform the search engine experience and ads, reportedly called project Magi, could result in a less cluttered and more targetable platform that would appeal to consumers and brand marketers, say experts. However, concerns remain for Google search, such as the accuracy of Google's Bard chatbot and lack of payment functionality.

Some Facebook ad buyers witnessed CPMs that were 200% to 500% higher than usual on Saturday and some had ads that surpassed preset daily budgets with no ability to course correct. Facebook acknowledged the issue publicly and says it corrected the bug and will issue credits accordingly.
