Coca-Cola to release Coke Energy in the US

Coca-Cola is launching its first energy drink in the US with Coke Energy arriving in stores in January. The drink, which is already available outside the US, will feature four varieties -- Coca-Cola Energy, Energy Zero Sugar, Energy Cherry and Energy Cherry Zero Sugar -- containing over three times the caffeine of regular Coke.

Moreover, consuming an excessive amount of caffeine can lead to health problems including hypertension, anxiety, rapid heartbeat and sleep disturbances, Sass writes.
