After the shutdown of the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility, the Savannah River Site is looking ahead toward a plutonium pit project, says Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness's Jim Marra. "Those pits -- at least as we know today -- will be needed for years and years and generations to come," Marra said.
