Milestone reached on Dubai Hills Mall infrastructure

Aldar Properties and Emaar Properties have formed a joint venture to continue development on two projects that are currently underway. The Emaar Beachfront in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will feature 7,000 residential units, a 1.5-kilometer beach and a promenade with shopping and food-and-beverage venues. The second, called Saadiyat Grove, will rise in Abu Dhabi linking the Louvre museum with two planned museums. In addition, the project will feature residential, hotel and serviced apartment units and 130,000 square meters of shopping space.

Sky walk attraction planned in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Emaar Properties has announced plans to install a sky walk attraction on the 53rd floor of the Address Sky View towers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The attraction will let guests walk 45 meters between two towers, 200 meters above the ground.

Investment group Adeptio, led by the chief of Emaar Properties, will pay around $2.5 billion for the Middle East operator of several Western restaurant chains, including Hardee's, KFC and Pizza Hut, Adeptio said Saturday. Kuwait Food, also called Americana, launched in 1964 and has grown to around 1,200 restaurants in North Africa and the Middle East.
