In case "kitchen" isn't enough of a theme for small kitchen electrics, a clever person on Etsy has come up with wraps for Instant Pots that give them a whole new personality -- such as one that transforms the pressure cooker into R2D2 from "Star Wars." "I would use my Instant Pot more if it looked like this," one person joked on Reddit.

Americans turn to Etsy for international fruits

7/16/2019

E-commerce website Etsy is associated with homemade or vintage goods, but many listings on the site include fruit that is difficult to find in the US, such as South Asian mangosteens, writes Lilian Min. Min also notes that Etsy's selling policies make these purchases far simpler than other channels to bring international fruit to the US.

Etsy to roll out free shipping amid high consumer demand

7/15/2019

Etsy will start offering free shipping on orders larger than $35 this month, after a test earlier this year revealed the perk led shoppers to spend more. About three-quarters of consumers surveyed last holiday season said they expect free shipping on orders of less than $50, and 65% look at shipping fees before loading up their carts, according to NRF.
