Wis. tribe unsuccessful in appeal over Mich. sulfide mine runoff

A federal appeals panel has ruled against the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin in a lawsuit regarding runoff from a Michigan sulfide mine. The US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit upheld the dismissal of the lawsuit, saying that it is unable to review actions by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers with regard to the Clean Water Act and the Administrative Procedures Act.
