International Standards Organization Technical Committee 204 (ISO/TC 204) Secretariat and U.S. Tag Administrator has been transferred from ITS America to SAE International, effective Sept. 25, 2017. ISO/TC 204 is responsible for the overall system and infrastructure aspects of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). TC 204 oversees the coordination of the ISO program in this field, which includes setting the schedule for standards development and taking into account the work of existing international standardization bodies. News Corp. has revealed an ad platform called News IQ, touted as a safe haven for brands to reach more than 140 million consumers in the US and gain first-party insights from its premium digital properties. "In a world of fake news and fraudulent metrics, News IQ offers advertisers a clear solution: quality audience, quality data, and quality environments," News Corp.'s Jesse Angelo said in a news release.

In a surprise Thanksgiving Eve announcement, security vendor Symantec said it will run most of its workloads on Amazon Web Services. A joint press release from the companies said the relationship is "long-term and bi-directional," with Symantec noting that AWS will be its strategic cloud provider.

A new Park Pulse poll found that 3 in 5 Americans say they would take up walking or jogging through local parks, trails or around the neighborhood if they were advised to be more physically active by a doctor or other health care provider.
