After more than 30 years in the restaurant business, Ruth Rogers, chef and owner of the famous River Cafe in London, has started a podcast featuring interviews with some of her most famous regular diners. Paul McCartney, Michael Caine, Glenn Close, Salman Rushdie and others talk with Rogers about their most memorable meals, favorite restaurants and more in the "River Cafe Table 4" series, which launches Tuesday.

Truist's new CEO Bill Rogers said one of the bank's top priorities for sustainable growth is deploying capital by making acquisitions, with plans to spend $1 billion to $2 billion early next year. This comes after the bank spent $1 billion on Constellation Affiliated Partners and $2 billion on Service Finance.

Mike Rogers, R-Ala., ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, is preparing an amendment to the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act that would add $25 billion, including $9.8 billion for weapons procurement. "We cannot afford to cut corners and play politics with our national security," Rogers said.

William Rogers will become CEO of Truist Financial on Sept. 1, succeeding Kelly King who will become chairman of the board of directors. The changes are part of a leadership restructure first announced after the bank's formation out of a merger between BB&T and SunTrust.
