SAG-AFTRA, JPC allow vaccine mandates

The advertising industry's Joint Policy Committee and The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists will allow COVID-19 vaccination mandates for commercial auditions and filming sessions. "Prior to this agreement, the union had been approving mandatory vaccination policies for commercial productions on a case-by-case basis consistent with the direction of the national board," SAG-AFTRA stated.

SAG to honor Lily Tomlin with Lifetime Achievement Award

Lily Tomlin will receive the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award on Jan. 29 in Los Angeles. Tomlin, the 53rd recipient of the award, first entered the TV business in 1969 and is currently starring in "Grace and Frankie" on Netflix.
