The Port of Seattle Commission showed support for E2SHB 1110, a bill introduced in the Washington state Senate that seeks to secure the implementation of a Clean Fuels Standard, through a letter delivered to the Senate Environment, Energy and Technology Committee. "In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, renewable fuels significantly reduce particulates and other pollutants from all forms of transportation," the letter stated.
