Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa can now assist members of UPMC Health Plan with questions about coverage. The virtual concierge service will also help members find care and access services like telehealth and membership cards.

A medication administration report sent by a UPMC St. Margaret employee to a third party compromised patients' protected health information, according to a news release. UPMC says the employee's access to its network was terminated, and the person isn't employed by the health system anymore.
