ViacomCBS spreads "Content for Change" company-wide
ViacomCBS leader Bob Bakish announced plans to take "Content for Change," initially a campaign from Black Entertainment Television, company-wide. The program evaluates portrayals of various underrepresented demographics, provides funds to encourage creative diversity and sets a company target of having "a global hire and promotion rate of 55% for female senior vice presidents and a U.S. hire and promotion rate of 40% for ethnically diverse vice presidents" by Jan. 1, 2022.
