Aircraft powered by plastic waste to take flight from Australia
Australian pilot Jeremy Roswell plans to fly from Australia to the U.K. in a Cessna aircraft powered by plastic waste. "The fuel is created by carefully heating plastic waste in the absence of oxygen," he said. "This process, which is called pyrolysis, creates a fuel that is essentially the same as petroleum."
